Joas Flynn is a senior social researcher at the Department for Education. Joas previously worked on ‘SEND Futures Discovery Phase’, alongside NatCen and the National Children’s Bureau, which explored the feasibility of a mainstage longitudinal study of children and young people with SEND. Joas has an interest in inclusion in research methods due to previous experience working with young people with SEND and young adults with learning disabilities, and because of his own lived experience as a disabled person
