Dr Murray is Director of the Centre for Coastal Communities at the University of Essex. She was formerly a Senior Research Fellow in the Epidemiology & Public Health department at University College London for nine years. Her research interests include how individual and area-based socioeconomic characteristics across the life course, and the variation and interactions between them, are related to health & well-being
