Edith Aguirre is a Senior Research Officer at the Institute for Social and Economic Research, University of Essex, where she is part of the Understanding Society team. Since joining UKHLS, Edith has led efforts to enhance researchers’ access to key data on pregnancy and early childhood, facilitating engagement with UKHLS data, and expanding research opportunities on child development. In addition, her research agenda focuses on child development and family dynamics, exploring how early-life conditions and family environments shape medium and long-term outcomes
