Daniel is an interdisciplinary health economist whose work harnesses advanced techniques from economics to address health inequalities. His research focuses on identifying and evaluating policies to improve population health outcomes by influencing the economic determinants of health. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Aberdeen and currently works in the School of Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow. Daniel is a past Understanding Society Fellow
