Katerina Gousia

Katerina is aResearch Fellow at the Care and Outcomes Research Centre (COReC), University of Kent, specializing in health and social care economics. Her research interests lie in the economics of ageing, health economics and causal inference methods. Her research has looked at the integration between health and social care services, the determinants of private long-term care insurance, the demand for long-term care services and the care needs of people living with cancer. She is currently working on several research projects including the estimation of the cost-effectiveness of domiciliary care and the evaluation of an Isometric Exercise intervention for hypertension.
