Elena Grimaccia

Elena Grimaccia is a Senior Research Fellow and Team Leader at the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat) and a Chartered Statistician of the Royal Statistical Society. Her research focuses on machine learning and AI, multivariate statistics, social statistics, food insecurity, and the social determinants of health inequalities. She is the author of more than 100 publications and serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (Series A).
