Richard Shaw has recently been appointed as a Lecturer in Public Health at the University of Glasgow, previously being a member of the MRC Social and Public Health Sciences Unit. An epidemiologist by training, his research focuses on social inequalities over the life course, particularly in relation to mental health. He specialises in using cross-sectoral linked administrative data. Richard also chairs the Mid-Career Researcher Subcommittee of the Society for Social Medicine and Population Health
