Xhiselda Demaj is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bologna. She received her PhD in Economics from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in January 2025. Her research interests lie in the fields of Economics of Education, Labour, Family, and Economics of Migration. In 2023, she was a Visiting Scholar at ISER, The University of Essex. Her research applies microeconometric techniques to study the effects of early-life interventions on children’s and young people’s human capital formation, as well as the processes underlying socio-economic inequalities in early years
