Dean Lillard is Professor of Consumer Sciences in the Department of Human Sciences at The Ohio State University (since 2012). He received his PhD in economics from the University of Chicago (1991). From 1991 to 2012, he held appointments at Cornell University. He is a Research Fellow of the German Institute for Economic Research and a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. He directs NIH funded projects to harmonize household-based panel data from sixteen countries and to analyze the economic and social consequences of COVID-mitigation policies in eleven countries
